Sarah and Mike Fisher Wedding Sneak Peeks

September 10, 2017  •  Leave a Comment

This wedding was seriously the most fun I've had with a bridal couple in a long time!  Mike struck a pose at every turn, he's fully ready for his modeling career. Sarah was a stunning array of sparkles and class and floated on air from the moment she stepped into her gown. This couple was so sweet, up for anything, completely having fun and enjoying every moment of their day. Photographing couples like this is what makes me happiest; I love working with fun, hilarious, and joyful people who are just truly living in the moment and well, whooping it up!

Mike and Sarah chose to do a First Look at the hotel they were getting ready at. The quiet courtyard in the back gave us a beautiful backdrop of the Chestnut Ridge golf course; and we couldn't have asked for a sunnier day!

Mike said his "allergies were acting up" here *wink wink*

We moved to the Country Club in Indiana to get some fun bridal party shots and some va-va-voom gorgeous images of the bride and groom themselves

Mike kept joking about how he and Sarah have been practicing their "dip" and he scared the life out of me when he pretended to almost drop her next to the pond at the club. I'm still recovering....

I was so excited to see their first dance. The couple told me they had never really danced in public before and they had been getting ready for the big moment. I think they killed it! Hi, can you say, epic dip?! Good job you two!

Mike sang to Sarah the whole time they were dancing. Seriously. Girl, you got yourself a keeper!

Congratulations you two, from the bottom of my heart. It was fun, hilarious, sweet, joyful teary day, and I'm so happy I met you both.

May the wind always be at your backs

Halfway to Home, Abe's 6 month milestone session

Remember sweet lil Abe? His newborn session was one of my favorites and we met up to do a baseball "Halfway to Home" session for his milestone. Mama brought all the kiddos who ran around with dad at the baseball field, while we snuggled up Abe and made him giggle. Nothing fazes this little guy, he's a smiler!

Well, I've been a-knowin' this little lass since she was a wee babe! And now look at her, she's 5?! I love seeing her every year, she's been one of my favorite little face, you'll see some of these images displayed at my new studio in Indiana. She's a ham, she's fun, sassy, and loves to model for her pictures. We've come a long way from our first session as a baby: i had to WORK to get her to crack a smile! Now, she's all grins!

You might remember Marissa and Shaun from their gorgeous wedding last year

Well, they have a new addition to their family! She's so beautiful and dainty and I really enjoyed catching up with these folks and chatting  about life after wedding! I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do!

I'm in love with mama nad baby images, they are so my favorite every time!

Isn't this headband the cutest?

Mama loves the coral vibe and so did I, what a great summer color!

This beautiful little bed was made by Logan Brothers Carpentry, I love it! Great craftmanship and so unique

Now they're a family of 4!

The Wedding of Alexandra and Stefan Moreau

August 08, 2017  •  Leave a Comment

This wedding. THIS.WEDDING.

Seriously, top five of my all-time favorites.

Alexandra has such an eye for detail, every bit of this wedding was her vision and dream and she carried it out to perfection. Stefan had all eyes on her, and how could he not, have you seen this girl?! She was a vision in her crystal draped semi-backless gown. Grace Kelly herself would turn her head to Alexandra's  custom headpiece and elegant mermaid gown.

The ceremony at Zion Lutheran Church in Indiana, PA was followed by a butterfly release, and Alexandra's bouquet was too sweet to resist, with a few butterflies camping out on it for the duration of her family portraits. A reception followed at the Barn at Rayne Run, and the golden sunset took over the mood lighting, filling their first dance with sparkling glittery glow. You can't make this stuff up folks, it was magic. DJ Bob Rout with Third Wave Sound kept the night going strong and the bridal party made sure EVERYONE danced, laughed and stayed well past dark.

I laughed all day with these amazing people and I'm really honored to have documented this momentous day for such a sweet and lovely couple.

Alexandra and Stefan, may the wind always be at your back.

Cheers,

Julie Bee
